In the third quarter of 2025, the food delivery app market in South America saw varied performance across the top five applications on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced different trends in downloads and active users.

iFood: pedir delivery em casa maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads initially above 118K, peaking at 127.7K in mid-August. However, by the end of September, downloads had decreased to about 71.9K. The app's weekly active users showed fluctuations, starting at 17.4M and closing the quarter at approximately 17.6M.

PedidosYa - Food Delivery experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at 54.4K and ending at roughly 42.3K. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 2.1M to 2.08M over the quarter.

Rappi - Deliveries in Minutes saw a mixed trend in weekly downloads, beginning at 46K, peaking at 52.5K in early August, and closing at about 46K. The app's active user base expanded significantly, starting with 1.98M and reaching 2.33M by the end of September.

Zé Delivery de Bebidas had a notable increase in downloads in late August, reaching 60.4K, before falling to 38K by the quarter's end. Its active user count showed a similar pattern, rising from 1.04M to a peak of 1.24M in mid-September, then adjusting to 1.14M.

Nuvem Pay displayed consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 21K, with a slight dip to 17.9K in late September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 83.9K, peaking at 95.8K in July, and ending at 83.4K.
